AFTER returning to the country, Simba’s heavy bosses met privately in Dar es Salaam to plan new strategies for how to start the season with a bang at their usual quality.

The Lions were camped in Morocco as was their traditional hometown, aligned with the Mainland Premier League and international championships.

Mwanaspoti witnessed yesterday the bosses entering the heavy session, despite making a big secret but the news says that the main agenda was Simba Day with a new camp to prepare.

According to reports, Simba Day will be held on September 19 as scheduled at Mkapa Stadium but still until last night they had not agreed on which team to come to the table and they already had three including one from Arabia.

We will set up camp in Karatu, Arusha to complete the final preparations to get ready,” hinted one leader despite acknowledging that there were others who wanted the camp to go to Zanzibar where they have been setting up and gaining success in recent years.

The Lions are determined to ensure that their squad stays in place before the Simba Day match and make them bigger than Mwananchi Day which Yanga celebrated on Sunday and filled Mkapa Stadium.
